...All I ASK IS A TALL SHIP AND A STAR..

I must go to the sea again, to the lonely sea and the sky.
And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by.

by John Masefield

  I found " my "  "tall ship"....isn't she a breathtaking beauty.......? A dream........!

            The sun is sparkling, a wonderful warm spring day,
           not even the slightest breeze in this pretty little
              port, where I take you today;
                  just a quick drive
                           down the hill...........

The perfection of a yacht's beauty is that nothing should be there for only beauty's sake.

by John Mac Gregor

Tight blue and and brown ropes....

And I love tuly the romantic name of "my" Beauty.....

I find the great thing in this world is not so much where we stand,
 as in what direction we are moving:
to reach the port of heaven,
we must sail sometimes
with the wind and
sometimes
against it-
but we must sail,
and not drift,
nor lie at
anchor.

by Oliver Wendel

...Let's sail now direction Corsica.....let's catch the winds in the sails.....!!!!
Let's discover the magnificient Islands in the mediterranean sea...!!!

(..You just have to take off a view days from work.....!)

Nice shots. Are you still looking for crew? I don't think of water when I think of Tuscany -- where is this?

Oh, no no no; dear friends....

This IS MY DREAM of a sailboat;
it is unfortunately NOT MINE; but I certainly keep on visiting it and taking pics of it and hopefully do my next sailing trip on it.....!!!

It lies on dock in the pretty port of San Vincenzo; close to Castagneto Carducci; on the Etruscan Coast; just a short drive down the hill from my home.

ciao ciao elvira

Oh, what a beautiful yacht "Nostalgia" is! Your photographs are stunning, as alwaysl!! The color of the water is lovely! I did an Atlantic crossing on a 36 feet yacht many years ago and it was a wonderful experience!

I trust that you will one day own this beautiful yacht or even a nicer one! Enjoy your dreams...may they all come true!! That is my wish for you!
