The newest BABY on our friend's Farm:
"My grand-grand-grand-grand....father was certainly ...Farfarello.......,
Imperiale.....,
Anatrone........., Rondello.......,
Salomone...... or perhaps even
Romolone.....!!!"
These are the names of the bulls who produced
perfect descendents of Maremma cows and calves;
written in scientific publications of Professor of agriculture Mario Lucifero
at the University of Florence.
....They have become the symbolic bulls of the magnificient pure-bred Maremmana cattle..!
Mamma.....
Magnificient animals that need no stalls, shelter, sheds, that love to roam
following the instincts of hunger and the herd...!
"Babbo"..."Daddy"...Bull....
" The Maremmana represents a biodiversity, it is a breed that descends directly
from very ancient animals..."
words of a lifestock expert.....
"It is the same animal that, a thousand years ago, bucked through the swamps that
then covered the Maremma."
.....probably well over a thousand years ago,
descending from the
Bos Taurus Macroceros,
a bovine with immense horns....!
I am soooooo glad she is a sweet Femmina........
she is only three days old
and truly a
VELVET BEAUTY.....!!!!
*
P.S. ....Actually we all were
GRAPE-HARVESTING
yesterday; & I won't
be long to
show you
the
sublime
rows of
GRAPEVINES!
